Another "Honor of Kings:World"?
After two years of silence, “Fanying(凡应)” Unveils Its First PV — Technical Confidential Test Recruitment Begins
“Where the mind’s will is answered, fate unfolds.”
Today marks the first public reveal of Fanying, a sweeping narrative fantasy ARPG developed by Yihua Kaitian(艺画开天) and published by Chengjing Xingyi(澄境星壹). Alongside the release of its world-building concept trailer, the game has officially opened recruitment for a technical confidential test (now through October 24, 16:00).
As Yihua Kaitian’s first original IP to span both animation and game simultaneously, Fanying leans on the studio’s animated roots. Its ambition is to craft a new fantasy realm driven by narrative, leading players — the so-called “Sea Walkers” — into a journey of fates waiting to be unveiled.
Co-developed by MoJie Games and Yihua Kaitian, the game is slated for release across multiple platforms including PC, console, and mobile.
Set in a dynamically shifting “Pure Sea” world, players assume the role of a Kui Ren, traversing territories from the northernmost Celestial Cliff to the great sea trench of Da Ming Yuan. Amid the surging sands and tides, you must adapt to ever-changing terrain and tame colossal creatures called LongBo to found settlements. The world follows a rule of “advance or fall.” In the north lie lurking unknown creatures; survival demands hunting, mining, and strategic interactions with marine life.
As the Kui Ren(傀人) evolves from a mere servant to an “Empire’s Shadow,” they and the shadow servant Lena will explore the mysteries of fate and carry the light of civilization across the back of LongBo. These majestic beasts serve as both refuge and vehicle, bestowed by the White Gods.
Combat features robust systems—shield breaking, blocking, hard hitting mechanics. Players may swap among three characters mid-battle to craft tactical approaches.
Fanying promises not merely spectacle, but a living world where survival and discovery are woven into every tide and dune. The odyssey begins now.
