Punishing: Gray Raven Test Server Adds Free Exploration Zone
Following the success of Wuthering Waves, Kuro Game is bringing fresh life to Punishing: Gray Raven.
After the huge success of Wuthering Waves, Kuro Game is breathing new life into its earlier title, Punishing: Gray Raven. Recently, players from the test server shared footage showing a brand-new free exploration zone. In this area, players can move around freely and switch between first-person and third-person perspectives.

Commandant now have access to new outfit options, with customization available for clothing, hairstyles, facial features, and accessories. During exploration missions, players can interact with Lucia, who follows them through the city’s commercial district. Liv also appears in one of the quests, allowing players to chat and take photos together. Players can freely switch between different characters while exploring.
At present, the free exploration zone is only available on the test server, with no confirmed release date for the main version. Still, Wuthering Waves’ success has rekindled expectations among Kuro’s longtime fans. Many PGR players have long hoped for a more open, 3D sandbox-like experience — and it seems that wish might finally come true.
